This module highlights the definitions, applications, port state control as well as reports contained in the articles and protocols of the MARPOL. This module also covers the MARPOL convention that was incorporated to address pollution at sea and in coastal waters as well as the adoption and enforced dates of the MARPOL convention. The tabulated structure and adopted date of the MARPOL conventions will also be covered in this module.
