Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can cause challenges in social interaction, communication, and repetitive behaviours. As it's a spectrum, the effects on individuals range from mild to severe. In the UK, more than one percent of children and adults have been diagnosed with autism.  This course aims to enhance understanding of ASD and equip learners to support individuals on the autism spectrum.
