This child psychology course lays out the fundamentals of disruptive behavior disorders experienced by children, including oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). We describe the symptoms of this disorder and explain how it develops and the various methods of treating it. We also take a closer look at the psychological history, epidemiology and etiology of ODD. We then examine the role of family relationships in helping children to manage ODD.
