This course covers the multiple roles of a care manager. We discuss healthcare systems and settings and go over the ethical and legal considerations of care management. We also discuss the essential skills required for health information management, healthcare marketing and public relations. We then establish the need for analytical and critical thinking skills in complex care scenarios and explain how they inform patient and elder care.
