In this module, you will be introduced to phlebotomy. This includes the anatomy and physiology of the veins and the techniques required for safe and effective venipuncture for the process of blood sampling. You will also be introduced to the equipment used in venipuncture procedures, documentation that should be completed and special blood tests that you may encounter.
