Children rely on the people close to them to protect them from abuse, exploitation, violence and neglect. Sometimes this protection is provided by professionals dedicated to safeguarding the wellbeing and safety of the young. This course provides the training required to recognise the signs and effects of various types of child abuse. We explain how to help vulnerable children and lay out the steps taken to report ‘disclosures of abuse’.
