Learning theories such as behaviorism, humanism, social cognitive, and the andragogy model resonate quite well with adult learning. This short course explores the best practices to apply in a bid to ensure maximal adult learning and numeracy. Unlike younger learners, adults may be faced with some challenges or difficulties that may hinder their learning. Tutors should understand such challenges and proper ways of alleviating them.
