Pests make environments unhygienic and are a major cause of diseases, some of which may be lethal and difficult or expensive to cure. Effective pest management and control are necessary to keep a living and working environment free from health hazards. This course provides the knowledge and skills required to establish and maintain a successful pest control management programme and describes various pests, their life cycles and their behaviour.
