This course describes the responsibilities of forest rangers in the UK. With climate change making forests more vulnerable to heat waves and wildfires, the role of the forest ranger is more critical than ever. We explain how rangers protect the natural habitat and the civilian population from the extreme effects of ravaging heat. We also discuss how they work with stakeholders to combat illegal wildlife trade, maintain biodiversity and more.
