This module introduces the 10 basic principles on how to Design and implement a Monitoring and Evaluation System, which provides a structured framework for systematically planning how data is collected, analysed and used to inform decision making. The module will also explore some of the foundations for defining results, developing and selecting key performance indicators, how to collect data and information, grouping indicators and developing output monitoring tools.
