This course covers the foundational duties of an EMR, including scene safety, teamwork, and communication. It includes patient assessment steps, airway management, bleeding control, CPR, and AED use. Topics explore medical emergencies such as chest pain, seizures, and diabetic issues, as well as trauma care for burns, fractures, and spinal injuries. Scene hazards, PPE use, and safe lifting techniques are also emphasized throughout.
