Connecting electronic components to a printed circuit board (PCB) is known as surface mount technology (SMT). This course details the surface mount devices (SMD) parts, including resistors, capacitors, transistors and diode, and the instruments and equipment needed when working with them. We also investigate various soldering procedures and process steps involved in assembly, like soldering and rework, with practical examples.
