Every child has the right to quality education and disability is one of the most severe barriers they face. This course teaches you how to recognise a child with special educational needs (SEN) early and help them at school and at home. We examine various theories and methods used to teach children with problems like autism, dyslexia, ADHD and visual and hearing impairments. We also explore the UK laws that protect children’s right to education.
