Carefully planning and designing urban areas benefits both its populace and environment. This course explains how to increase the quality of life of people within a city and make built-up areas more livable through proper urban town planning and design. We establish the importance of systematic urban town planning and design for cities that are better integrated, networked and support sustainable urban development while resisting climate change.
