This course aims to offer a better understanding of the importance, management, and preservation of forests. We cover fundamental concepts and vocabulary related to forests, including their global significance. Additionally, we explore methods for controlling forest diseases and achieving silvicultural management objectives. We then analyse tree measurements and consider forests from a socioeconomic perspective.
