In this module, you will learn about the fundamentals of welding and joining, the science behind it, the different welding techniques and the classification of welding processes. Also, you will learn about surface-active elements in welding, the Marangoni convection mode and the surface tension force in weld pool model. You will further be introduced into allied welding process using surface-active elements, activated TIG welding process and magnetic impelled Arc butt welding.
